CONSTITUTION

This is the centrepiece of the ANSR vision:

A new Constitution for a young and free Australian Republic.

When ratified by the Australian public, the ANSR will deliver a new era of participatory government, civil rights, and national duty, including clearly defined limits on state power. And the right to free & fair governance, free from domestic & foreign subversion. In conjunction with the ANSR Bill of Rights, this will guarantee political agency remains with the people of Australia.

Not with parties, lobbyists, or foreign interests.

An Australian republic should not be driven by spite toward our past. It must accept history as it is, recognise present realities, and focus on building a shared future between the nations of this land.
