INFRASTRUCTURE
The ANSR is committed to rebuilding Australia’s critical infrastructure — not for political favour, but for national renewal.
Our infrastructure will be designed to serve the Australian people with permanence, beauty, and purpose.
We will finance and deliver large-scale public works that strengthen the economy, connect the country, and reflect the character of the nation.
Urban and regional development will prioritise long-term functionality, traditional design principles, and resilience against environmental and structural decay.
Infrastructure is not just a utility. It is identity.
The Republic will build in a way that honours our history, asserts our presence, and endures into the future.
No more disposable construction.
No more soulless design.
We will build like a nation meant to last.
-
The ANSR Party is committed to rebuilding Australia’s critical infrastructure with purpose, discipline, and sustainability at its core. We will launch a national public works program to modernise essential systems, beautify neglected spaces, and future-proof the physical foundations of the Republic.
In partnership with state and local governments, we will prioritise sustainable mobility—expanding bikeways, pedestrian corridors, and human-scale urban design to reduce congestion and restore dignity to our cities.
We will integrate green spaces into urban landscapes through re-beautification efforts across public buildings, civic spaces, and disused infrastructure. These projects will employ ecological landscaping, carbon-conscious materials, and native planting—building a resilient national environment in both form and function.
Through these measures, the ANSR will deliver infrastructure that serves Australians—functionally, culturally, and ecologically—while advancing the Republic’s vision of a strong, sustainable future.
-
The ANSR Party will establish a unified design framework for public architecture and civic spaces across the Republic—one that reflects our heritage, asserts our values, and endures through time.
This framework will fuse classical principles with distinctly Australian character: the orders of Western civilisation, the Anglo-Celtic and European craftsmanship that built our cities, and the Aboriginal artistic traditions that root us to this land. Together, these influences will form a our national aesthetic—timeless, recognisable, and ours.
Public infrastructure will no longer be generic, globalised, or disposable. Under ANSR, every government building, park, monument, and civic space will serve as an expression of national identity—honouring our past, grounding our present, and shaping the visual soul of the Republic for generations to come.
-
The ANSR Party recognises that Australia’s historic buildings, monuments, and civic infrastructure are not just remnants of the past—they are pillars of national identity. These structures speak to our struggle, achievement, and continuity as a people. Once lost, they cannot be rebuilt.
While we support thoughtful development, the ANSR firmly opposes the demolition or repurposing of culturally significant sites for corporate profit, foreign interests, or short-sighted expansion. No modern convenience is worth the erasure of our civilisational memory.
We will enshrine protective legislation to ensure that development respects heritage. These places will not only be preserved—they will be restored, honoured, and made central to the cultural life of the Republic.
True progress does not erase the past. It builds upon it.

Building on Lance Endersbee’s 1997 vision for an Australian Ring Rail, the ANSR will complete and expand the network to reflect the true scale and needs of the Republic.
Two critical additions will be made:
— A northern extension reaching Far North Queensland, unlocking the region’s agricultural and strategic potential.
— A western link connecting Perth directly to Adelaide, completing the southern arc and ensuring full continental integration. This expanded Ring Rail will serve as the logistical spine of the Republic — driving decentralisation, regional growth, and national cohesion. It will enable faster, cleaner transport of goods and people across vast distances, reducing our dependence on vulnerable coastal routes and foreign-owned freight carriers.
Using proven, future-focused technologies such as magnetic levitation, this rail system will usher in a new era of inland development, national productivity, and internal connectivity — all built by and for Australians.
This is more than infrastructure. It’s a foundation for a united, self-sufficient Australia.
